Grants and Funding

We provide information and advice to turn innovation transfer into a reality

At the FBG we help you find funding so that your UB innovation project moves forward.

To this end, we offer up-to-date information about the different kinds of grant calls (fellowships, prizes, etc.) promoted by the Bosch i Gimpera Foundation, about the European projects we manage, and also about calls funded by other entities that might be of interest.

*If you want to apply for a grant or tender for a public sector contract through the FBG, all documents must be submitted at least 5 working days before the deadline set in the call or in the invitation to tender.

European Projects

The International Research Projects Office (OPIR) is responsible for the management of research projects funded by the European Commission under the HORIZON 2020 programme. Through this unit, the FBG provides information, advice, and support throughout the process

F2I

The FBG Fund for the Promotion of Innovation(F2I) includes two types of grants:

  • Proof of Concepte (PoC), to improve the opportunities of exploitation of research results generated at the UB, and to valorise research projects with a high transfer potential.
  • Mentor in Residence (MiR), to encourage the creation of brand new spin-offs and the consolidation of others recently created by hiring a mentor.

Prizes

The annual awards of the Social Council of the UB and the Bosch i Gimpera Foundation recognize transfer projects and innovative companies whose activity promotes the return of university knowledge to society.
