Fund for the Boost of Innovation (F2I) – Proof of Concept (PdC)
The University of Barcelona, through the Bosch i Gimpera Foundation, is launching a new edition of the Fund for the Boost of Innovation (F2I) program, an initiative aimed at boosting the innovation and transfer activities of its researchers.
The Proof of Concept (PdC) grants, with a budget of 100,000 euros, are aimed at UB research staff who lead transfer projects where the University owns or co-owns the knowledge and prior technology and the results for which the grant is requested.
Proof of Concept offers:
– Up to 25,000 euros for each project.
– Improve the opportunities for exploiting research results generated at the University of Barcelona and valorize research projects.
– Advance in the maturation of the selected technologies in order to bring them closer to the market and allow their transfer.
