
Fund for the Boost of Innovation (F2I) – Mentor in Residence (MiR)
The University of Barcelona, through the Bosch i Gimpera Foundation, is launching a new edition of the Fund for the Boost of Innovation (F2I) program, an initiative aimed at boosting the innovation and transfer activities of its researchers.
The Mentor in Residence (MiR), with a budget of 22,500 euros, is aimed at UB research staff who lead transfer projects through the creation of a company where the UB owns or co-owns the knowledge and prior technology, and the results from which the new spin-off will be developed.
Mentor in Residence offers:
– Complement the entrepreneurial team with a specialized mentor who accompanies them in the different phases of concretization and search for funds (Maximum 6 months).
– Promote the creation of UB spin-offs.
– Funding per project: up to €4,500
– A minimum of 30 hours of mentoring meetings per project is required
Deadline for submission: April 15, 2026 (11:59 p.m.).
