Third meeting of the spin-offs of the University of Barcelona

The University of Barcelona, through the Bosch i Gimpera Foundation, the UB’s knowledge transfer office, is organizing the Third Spin-off Meeting of the University of Barcelona: Cockroaches vs Unicorns.

This event aims to be an annual meeting point for companies in which the UB participates through CIC UB or through technology and economic rights, with the aim of getting to know each other, sharing experiences and creating synergies.

The UB spin-offs, companies that emerged from a technology or knowledge developed at the University, obtained fourteen million euros in financing during 2024 and had a total turnover of almost eleven million euros. These figures highlight the potential of these companies and their ability to attract investments.
