Introduction<\/h3>\n

The research team of Autoimmunity, Immunonutrition and Tolerance<\/strong> has more than 30 years\u2019 experience in the field of experimental immunonutrition<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Initially focused on studying the physiologic bases of the chronic inflammatory process, currently, the group extends their research on deciphering the influence of nutrients<\/strong> as flavonoids, probiotics, prebiotics and breast milk bioactive compounds on the immune system<\/strong> function in hazardous conditions as infectious<\/strong> processes, allergies<\/strong>, transient immunodeficiency\u2019s<\/strong> and the immune system immaturity in newborns<\/strong> and early stages of life<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
