The Bosch i Gimpera Foundation welcomes a delegation of philanthropic investors and Indian spin-offs to explore collaboration opportunities in health and biomedicine
The Bosch i Gimpera Foundation (FBG), the knowledge transfer office (KTO) of the University of Barcelona, welcomed an international delegation composed of representatives from the Indian foundation Blockchain For Impact and five spin-offs from the health and biomedicine sector, as part of a European immersion programme aimed at exploring Catalonia’s innovation ecosystem.
The visit was organised jointly with Chasing Science to foster connections between international health innovation ecosystems and generate new collaboration opportunities among institutions, start-ups and strategic investment stakeholders.
During the working session, representatives from Blockchain For Impact and the participating spin-offs were able to learn first-hand about the University of Barcelona’s knowledge transfer and technology valorisation activities, while also exploring potential avenues for cooperation with projects and spin-offs linked to the UB ecosystem.
Blockchain For Impact is an organisation that plays a leading role as a philanthropic investor in healthcare and biomedicine in India, promoting initiatives aimed at driving innovations with social impact and supporting their international scalability.
This meeting reinforces FBG’s position as a key player in the internationalisation of innovation generated at the University of Barcelona and in building bridges with emerging high-potential ecosystems in the life sciences sector.
